SHINE Week 2023
An annual week of festivities for incoming freshman and returning students to connect with Bison in the School of Communications and Howard community.
Inaugural Student Film Festival 2023
The first student film festival on the yard produced by our 2022-2024 President, Alana I. Smith. Over 100 students stayed outside on blankets to enjoy seventeen films and popcorn in the springtime.
WBB Media Press Conference 2024
Our first collaboration with Howard University’s Women’s Basketball Team to celebrate black women in sports and LGBTQ+ history month.
Suits for Success Clothing Drive 2024
SOC’s first professional suit clothing drive received over 250 donation items and help served students from all majors to provide free clothes for career fairs, job interviews, and networking events!
